JEFF sagehorn
Coach Jeff Sagehorn has been in the sport of swimming for 14 years. He swam for McKinney High School under Sam Serio and graduated class of 2001. He went to state in 2000 and 2001 where he won a silver medal in the 200 free relay and the 400 free relay. Coach Sagehorn also swam for Metroplex Aquatics under Brent Mitchel where he was a junior national qualifier in the 50, and 500 free, as well as the 100 butterfly. He later swam for Auburn University in 2001-2002. Coach Sagehorn graduated from University of North Texas with a bachelor of arts in Anthropology. He is currently the head coach for McKinney Boyd Swim and Dive.
Sarah cooper
Sarah Cooper is the Assistant Varsity Swim Coach. She teaches Pre-Ap Geometry and Algebra II. She is a McKinney ISD graduate where she swam for Coach Sam Serio at McKinney High School. Coach Cooper graduated from the University of Texas where she majored in mathematics with a minor in education. Coach Cooper is also the Eldorado Country Club Swim Team head coach.
